Debuting A Play discussion: RSVP here

At 1 PM on Sunday April 13, join Art of Wise‘s playwright Mark Clayton Southers and director Monteze Freeland, as they discuss the process of debuting a play, from writing to casting and directing. Both Mark and Monteze have navigated this process as both playwrights and directors. Just last year, Monteze directed the world premiere of Mark’s play The Coffin Maker at Pittsburgh Public, Monteze’s play Fishy Woo Woo received its debut at Playwrights, and Art of Wise is now the eighth of Mark’s plays to debut at Playwrights. We know this will be a delightful discussion of thoughtful perspectives, experiences, and wisdom.

This free event runs about one hour, and all patrons are welcome, whether or not they plan to see that day’s 3 PM matinee performance of Art of Wise.
